Ron from Abair Tree Service came out within a day of calling, to give us a quote on 8 trees to be removed. Their price was extremely reasonable and Ron explained in detail how they would do it. Within a week Ron and his crew were here. The first day we added 4 more trees. They had to work around a house, a barn, 2 car shelters, and electrical wire on either side of some of the trees. Perfect, period!! From first phone call for information through project completion, I am very pleased. I did not shop for pricing, I discovered small town family feel , with professionalism, and subject matter knowledge apparent through my phone calls and in-person interaction during Ron's site visit. Ssealed the deal - with a handshake. I am thankful. As for their work - attentive, timely, professional, safely organized, properly equipped, discussed their plan, and executed it without issues. On their spectrum, this was a tiny job - take down 5 trees, trim another 4, and eliminate another 6 or so bushes. trees. One maple caused us the most concern. All of us wanted to protect the tree and permit more sun to reach the pool without destroying a beautiful maple tree. Frankly? The crew did just that. Their collaborative, cooperative, and professional nature impressed me. Later, after the crew was long gone and sun set - proof was in the pudding. They moved the 'bouquet' upwards - likely permitting more sun to the pool and also promoting the tree's life. Very pleased. I took some photographs and shared with Abair. Beyond impressed with the crew’s efficiency, skill, and respect for my home and surrounding land. I needed a decent amount of tall pines cut and some were located in difficult to reach areas. I also had some brush and an old tree I wanted moved further into the woods. I had a great experience with Abair Tree Service. From start to finish they were awesome to work with. They’re a family owned company and it shows in how they treat their customers and each other. I got a chance to watch them take down a massive tree I had on the front of my house, on the edge of the road, with electrical wires rubbing through it. They were a well oiled machine. They worked quickly and more importantly safely. My road is very narrow but they managed to keep it clear with all the trucks and trailers they needed for the job. We hired the Abair crew recently and had a very nice experience with them. Ron showed up for the estimate on time and gave us a very professional asesment of what we needed to do to make our back yard safe. Several trees had fallen on other trees it was a tangled mess. Ron and his crew showed up (on time!) and completely cleaned up both the trees on the ground and a couple that were twisted together. We had about 20 trees taken down in November 2025 (Yes, I waited far too long to leave this review!). These guys are nothing short of amazing! Ron, Jodi, family and crew...you guys rock! Would absolutely recommend! We originally had them come out to quote us on 6-7 trees and price was very reasonable. We ended up wanting to get more (and then even more!) trees taken down and they were more than responsive and accommodating. We did need a larger crane to take out some trees in back of our house due to the reach needed. The crane they brought was massive! We live in a heavily wooded area, dirt roads, and they were able to place the crane perfectly to get the job done...beyond impressed! I don’t know if it was windshear or microburst. But it was very sudden. And a large limb fell across the yard blocking entrance to driveway and front door of the house. We called and Jodi answered our questions and helped us calm down. Ron was at the house within a hour with chainsaws, large truck, and bobcat. He completely cleared a path to the front door. The next day 2 very great guys came with a large truck and chipper and saws and rakes. I knew that at 82 if I needed Emergency help that now they could get to me in the house. Just had a full days worth of cutting done by Abair 👍 Communication leading up was excellent considering all of the rain we've been having. The guys arrived early and did a great job. The team had to negotiate a good sized rock wall and a few other obstacles and did so without issue. Considering all the rain, they left the yard looking pretty good as far as clean up and excavator tracks.
